Shamini Flint works closely with the World Wide Fund for Nature. Part of the proceeds of Jungle Blues, Panda packs her Bags and Turtle takes a Trip, that feature endangered animals, are donated to the WWF, Asia Pacific. In addition, all author royalties from the sale of The Seeds of Time are donated to the WWF as well. All her books are printed on recycled paper or paper from sustainably grown trees.

Shamini works with the WWF to promote environmental awareness in schools and kindergartens, using her books as a platform for discussions.
